On 19/01, the NY reception took place. Nobody of us present had a crystal ball, but we went on looking at some of the #govtech and #tokvil public innovation trends of the coming year going through the alpabet. The alphabet was crowdsourced, with some present explaining their letter.
At the end we made a little poll to select the top favourites.

With the fast change due to covid on public administrations, the idea is that at some point there will be parts of administration that basically are still functioning, but are out of touch, overburdened in administrative processes, and have been fasttracked. Walking deads.
Govtech
Welcoming the Govtech meetup this was an evidence; hope resides that there will be a #govtech ambitious strategy in the Brussels region and a win-win situation
Purpose
Administrations moving from their silo expertise onto accepting the horizontal challengs and their action defined by a purpose
Reskilling
The need to provide (digital) and other skills to a growing group of people white and blue collar, where AI is eating up administrative repetitie processes
I was myself really amazed by the overall enthusiasm for Zombie, walking dead.
